*dances Victory! dance* We're both working again!

We both have jobs!

GFâ„¢ got her new job at Honeywell while working for the Hell job. I call it the Hell job because she was put through so much harassment and harsh working environments that it amounted to essentially working in Hell.

She submitted her resume in to Honeywell, did the interview thing, passed the background check and drug tests with flying colors and she starts Monday. She'll eventually be on 3rd shift.

I am so proud. *sniff*

My story below the jump.

I just started my new one this past Thursday.

Funny thing happened. I'm asleep on the couch due to still recovering from head cold received from GFâ„¢ when the phone rings at about 7:30 in the morning. It was for GFâ„¢ and I had to inform them that she is no longer looking for a job and I hang up and go back to sleep.
Long about 45 minutes later, the phone rings again and it's for me. Guy on the line says for me to get up and go to work. Now, I'm still half asleep so for a couple seconds I'm thinking it's my Uncle Kent and I'm out on the family farm. Anyway, once I clear the cobwebs from my head, I realise I have a job and the guy said that they wanted me there ASAP. I get some breakfast into my system, wake up a little bit, get cleaned up and then head down to my new job. Turns out it's for MagStar Technologies. I'm asembling what's going to be a centrifuge used in operating rooms to get white blood cells out.

That is so cool.

Weird thing is, I didn't have to interview with the company before I got the job. It's temp-to-hire, so hopefully in 90 days I'll be hired on and make this my career.
