*dances Victory! dance* We're both working again!

We both have jobs!

GFâ„¢ got her new job at Honeywell while working for the Hell job. I call it the Hell job because she was put through so much harassment and harsh working environments that it amounted to essentially working in Hell.

She submitted her resume in to Honeywell, did the interview thing, passed the background check and drug tests with flying colors and she starts Monday. She'll eventually be on 3rd shift.

I am so proud. *sniff*

My story below the jump.

Low note with a possible high...

GFâ„¢ called me today with news about one of the jobs we interviewed for back on Monday. They gave the job to a dude with 10 years experience with that particular job.
I hate this fucking catch 22. Which one? The one where I need experience in order to land a good job, but no one will hire me so I can get the experience I need in order to land it.
Granted, it isn't as if GFâ„¢ would have gotten it either, but now it seems she'll be working 3rd shift at Honeywell starting soon. Twenty fucking bucks an hour. And I'm just hoping for a job where all I get is fucking $13.50. Ugh.

Well, the high note is that I have an interview with a company called SmarteCarte on Monday. They install lockers, carts at airports, and various other things. You more than likely have seen them at your local airport here in the USA.

Just got home from Wisconsin Dells.

Really need to go earlier than Labor Day. Especially this year as it seems that Labor Day hit and then we went straight to October, weather-wise. Really freakin' cold.

Doc appt. & blood draw

Had a doctor's appointment today along with a blood draw before hand. Cholesterol is normal, which I believe I can thank my dad for. The man weighs in excess of 350 lbs yet has the best cholesterol anyone has ever seen, according to my mother. But my tryglycerides are still elevated. Need to be under 100 to be considered safe. Was at a high of 530 a long time ago, but now it's about in the 260s range, I believe. All in all, I'd say my chances of heart disease and/or stroke are not that high.

Computer problems. (&*%^$*%^$&^#$^*%#*)

Man, I hate whomever decided it would be a great idea to invent spyware.

Yesterday, I go to a website to have a little fun. Next thing I know, SpyBot is going nuts with things needing to be changed and stuff like that.
So I shut down my computer because the pop-ups are driving me nuts from SpyBot.

Couple hours later, after a movie, I turn my computer back on and go about my normal routine. Next thing I know, I'm getting all sorts of pop-ups saying my system is infected with a Trojan Virus. So I run Norton and it finds nothing. I run it again and still squat. So I shut it down again and take it in to Best Buy. Turns out I was infected with some new type of Malware/Spyware.

Drama

I hate drama.

Yesterday, a friend of mine from my cult in Gothador, " Quintin", decided to up and leave my cult after having been with us for almost a year now without saying one word to myself or the other co-owners as to his intentions or why. We had to ask him why afterward.
Suffice it to say that while I wish him well in his endeavours in his new cult, I do wish Quintin had mentioned something to myself or the other co-owners so we could have prepared for this.
It is going to be a while for us to catch up to where we were before Quintin and his bonded and her alt left.

In a previous game I used to play, Vampires, which took place on a map everyone called Ravenblack City, drama seemed to be the driving force behind it as the creator of the game rarely ever added new features. I mean, once you had all the powers, which you could either do through quests or pay cash money for them, your choices were essentially fight, suck blood a hell of a lot, get a huge bank account, or become a drama magnet, which can involve several of the previous things.
Believe me, I got into quite a bit of things both shallow and deep into drama and several degrees in between.

If I want drama, believe you me, I'd rather watch wrestling or argue with someone.

Still new to this, so bear with me...

Hopefully, the more I do this, the better I get. Or at least that is the theory...

Today at work, we had to do some training as it's audit time and as I'm new, I need to get caught up on things.
As I'm walking to the conference room in the other building across the parking lot, I spot this little bunny rabbit scrunched up in the gutter next to the curb. I leaned down and saw that it was just shaking like a leaf, it was so scared. I just smiled and went on my way to my training.
Three hours later, after the boring training was over and we all were heading back to work, I looked in the spot I saw it in before and it wasn't there. I looked around and didn't see any remains, so I'm guessing it got out of there when it had the chance.
When I was looking at the bunny, I remembered what I had read in the newspaper the day before about little animals you find lying around. My local Department of Natural Resources says to not touch or pick them up as more than likely they are not abandoned or injuried, just trying something new for the first time or are crossing those huge patches of human things we call roads,
parking lots or what have you.
In other words, it's best to leave the wild animals alone.

Until next time, whenever that may be...

Best explain what's going on...

Well, since I seem to be attracting notice here, I'd better introduce myself.

On here, my name is Goliath. Those of you that know my real name, please don't use it here.

I am a 26 year old Democratic atheist and damned proud of it! :p

I love watching TV and absolutely love my DVR. With it, I can record alot more shows than I used to be able to.

I'll be posting here when I feel like it, probably to make some weird observation or vent or something.

Short and sweet this time, I guess.

Official start here, I suppose........

Well, I suppose I should officially start this thing. I just put on my class ring from when I graduated... it has my school name, school colors, my first name and my birth stone, ruby. Whenever I slide it on, I imagine myself as one of the Planeteers, you know, from [link=http://epguides.com/CaptainPlanet/]Captain Planet & The Planeteers[/link]... yeah, I'm wierd. Oh, if you have it at your local grocery store, pick up JELL-O Sugar Free Pudding. It's only 60 calories and they just introduced Chocolate Mint Fudge that is very good. If you're a fan of mint and chocolate, you have got to try these out.
